Ernestine Anderson Place

This site is the location of the Jimi Hendrix home and thus special attention was taken to honor the music-related history of the Central Area. barrientos RYAN helped LIHI create 61 units of housing for low-income seniors in a contemporary structure, working with local artist Koryn Ralstad to create a fun, music-oriented identity for the building that simultaneously honors Ernestine Anderson. The building includes a library, front desk, community room, computer lab, counseling offices and exercise room that will assist residents as they age.
