Kristin Ryan was the project manager for the development of this 70,000 SF theatre complex in New York’s Times Square, designed by Frank Gehry & Partners. This space is the largest theater complex built in NY since Lincoln Center, built to LEEDS Gold standards. Signature Theatre specializes in performances devoted to single writers including Edward Albee, Tony Kushner, John Guare, Paula Vogel and August Wilson. The theatre, located at the base of a high rise apartment and hotel complex, allowed Signature Theatre to expand to a three venue complex with over 750 total seats. The complex includes two rehearsal studios, a café, and a bookstore which has become a great gathering space for community engagement space for both artist, performers and theatre goers. Signature opened in January 2012.
