This wonderful facility designed and built for the WNBA’s Seattle Storm team is the new home for the Seattle Storm and includes a state-of-the-art practice facility with 2 high performance WNBA basketball courts, locker rooms, strength, conditioning, training, recovery, aquatics, nutrition center, and player lounge plus a home for all front office staff.  barrientosRyan served as the Owners Representative working with the Ownership group to create the facility.

The Storm’s new home is the first purpose built facility from the ground up and is a testament to the commitment of the Storm providing leadership in the WNBA and in the Pacific NW region.  This home was built by women, for women, with 85% of the professional design & engineering team comprised of women and over 50% of the subcontractors were led by women teams.  This LEED Gold building has received many environmental awards, has received the city’s Icon of the Year Award from NAIOP, and continues to provide inspiration for all girls and women, that women matter.
